Everyone knows the history of Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page once they split from The Yardbirds but there is more to The Yardbirds Family Tree than just 'The Big Three' Yardbirds drummer Jim McCarty continued working after the break-up with several fine bands including his own Jim McCarty Band, The British Invasion All-Stars and The Yardbirds Experience. These bands also included future Yardbird John Idan as well as many stars of The British Invasion including Noel Redding, Matthew Fisher (Procol Harum) Ray Majors (Mott/British Lions) and many more. Other related artists on this album include Dave (Savoy Brown) Walker and Pete (Cactus/Atomic Rooster) French, and members of The Downliner’s Sect, Pretty Things, Creation and The Kinks.
