Glambilly, White BBQ Sauce

What’s in a name? Glambilly delivers all its moniker implies: Americana with style, sass and flair, country music that is truly cool and contemporary, genuine roots that rocks’n’rolls with flash and fury. Hailed by the Austin Chronicle as “wicked cool” and “pure rock-roots, not the other way around,” the San Antonio, TX trio rip it up righteously on White BBQ Sauce. Led by singer/songwriter/ bassist Hans Frank, also an award winning playwright and true hillbilly renaissance man, the trio also features hot guitar slinger “Dangerous” Danny Aaron from Texas hard rock heroes Dangerous Toys. The band’s Saustex label debut includes three tunes also cut by Frank’s acclaimed major label country band, 10 City Run, revised to live up to their full Glambilly glory. “Think Johnny Cash hopped up on pills and simultaneously carjacking both ZZ Top and White Zombie,” says Texas Music. Or as Texas Music Times raves, “On a scale of 1 to 10, Glambilly goes to 11.”
