Burnside Album Details

After years of writing for other artists, LeRoy Martez Bell is pursuing a solo career with his latest album "Spending Time", a blend of smoky vocals and acoustic guitar accompanied by cello. LeRoy’s latest song to be covered is a song he co-wrote with Thom Bell and Casey James for the legendary Elton John. The title, "Are You Ready for Love", remixed by Fat Boy Slim, was released in the U.K. debuting at #1 this past summer. Currently performing in the Pacific Northwest, LeRoy has had the pleasure of opening for Sergio Mendes and Kenny Loggins. You may remember LeRoy from the 1979 pop and R&B hit "Livin' It Up (Friday Night)" by Bell & James.
