Burnside Album Details

It took 27 years to Willie Alexander and the Boom Boom Band to record their 3rd album. It was worth the wait. The godfather of garage rock and /or Boston punk and his gang are back and they rock like a bunch of teenagers. The short background of the Beantown legend- member of the legendary Lost and The Bagatelle in the '60s; in the last go around of the Velvet Underground in the early '70s; Kerouac and Hit Her Wid De Axe are early DIY singles; formed the Boom Boom Band in ’76; broke up in ’78 after two major label albums - reformed in the new millennium sounding as if they never missed a beat. Very cool stuff; check it out.
