Guitarist Ricardo Silveira and pianist Luiz Avellar, two of Brazil’s leading instrumentalists, are joined by master percussionist Robertinho Silva on this emotional and highly charged live recording. Captured during two nights in Rio de Janeiro, Silveira and Avellar, along with Silva, take the beloved music of Milton Nascimento’s classic work to a whole new level of elegance and excitement. As longtime members of Nascimento’s band, these musicians are able to draw upon two plus decades of musical chemistry, performing Milton’s work and other original compositions as only they can.
