Swamp Dogg, The White Man Made Me Do It
Jerry “Swamp Dogg” Williams has been making records since he was twelve (over sixty years ago), and in his opinion, this is his best work since the early 70s. He got thrown off course when Disco raised its’ head dictating beats per minutes, extended intros and breakdowns whether needed or not. Before that he was riding the charts writing and producing hit records for folks like Freddie North (‘Don’t Take Her, She’s All I Got’ subsequently #2 Country hit for Johnny paycheck and then #4 for Tracy Byrd 25 years later), Charlie Whitehead, ZZ Hill and many others. During that time Disco snuck up on him and whupped him in the head blocking his view of the end being near for across the board old school Soul and R’n’B. But Swamp is back and has hit the bullseye on the music al target with The White Man Made Me Do It. This album will be hailed by the world forever as the re-emergence of one of the baddest cats in the universe---Swamp Dogg. This package contains14 brand new tracks and an excerpt from his forthcoming autobiography, KISS MY A**.
