Alexander, Willie "Loco" & the Confessions, Autre Chose: LIVE
Willie “Loco” Alexander is a Boston legend who continues to play to this day. A founding member of the legendary ‘60s garage band The Lost, he also spent time with The Bagatelle, The Grass Menagerie, and the last go-round of The Velvet Underground. He eventually turned solo, releasing classics like “Kerouac”, “Radio Heart” and “Hit Her Wid De Axe”, before recording a few major label albums as Willie Alexander and The Boom Boom Band. In one incarnation or another, Alexander has continued to release albums in each of the last five decades always remaining a true underground favorite – precursor of punk rock and purveyor of Boston pop. In 1982 with his then current band The Confessions, Alexander did a tour of France - which was documented by New Rose Records as Autre Chose. For the first time on CD, Last Call records has finally re-released this classic slice of “Loco”.
