Richards, Miranda Lee, Echoes Of The Dreamtime LP

Miranda Lee Richards returns with her third album, Echoes Of The Dreamtime, a stunning mix of folk, indie, psychedelia and dream pop. Miranda is the daughter of cult cartoonists Ted and Teresa Richards, and is the goddaughter of Robert (aka R.) Crumb. Kirk Hammett of Metallica taught her a few songs on guitar and she went on to work with Joe Firstman, Suzanne Vega, Tim Burgess, Tricky, Good Listeners and the Jesus And Mary Chain. She was also a member of the Brian Jonestown Massacre (she sang their hit Anemone) and is featured throughout the 2004 documentary about them and the Dandy Warhols, DIG! Echoes Of The Dreamtime follows The Herethereafter (Virgin Records, 2001) and Light Of X (Nettwerk Records, 2009) and is produced by Rick Parker (Dandy Warhols, including Bohemian Like Me, and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club). The 140 gram vinyl component has a deluxe gatefold sleeve.
